The apartments are both in a central part of the North Yorkshire town, on the quiet Silver Street. EastSide View was established in 2020, while The Hidden Nook was set up in 2021 – and each of these beautiful apartments are self contained with fully equipped kitchens.
Local attractions include the 7th-century Whitby Abbey – while, on the West Cliff, you can find a whalebone arch commemorating the whaling industry.
Also on the West Cliff is a statue of Captain James Cook, who served his apprenticeship in the town — and, in Whitby’s famous harbour, you can board an authentic recreation of Cook’s HMS Endeavour. If you prefer trains North Yorkshire Moor steam trains have a station in Whitby for you to board.
Whitby boasts the renowned 199 steps ascending to St. Mary’s Church, renowned for its association with the Dracula tale, and once frequented by Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice in Wonderland.
